• Milling at my place; $ .35 per board foot (bf) + log handling @ $50 per hour
• Portable milling; $ .35 bf for projects under 1000 bf
• Portable milling ; $ .30 bf for projects over 1000 bf
• Portable Milling ; $1.50 per mile one way, one time travel charge. No extra charge for multi day projects.
• All milling projects ; $ 25.00 charge for ruined blade caused by foreign objects in logs.
• Specialty projects ; $75.00 per hour. Some examples of specialty projects, small logs (under 10 inches), crooked logs, any project with out enough laborers/ help,

What SAW IT COMING provides; Sawmill, Sawyer, Fuel, Normal wear on saw blades, advice on staging/ preparing logs, advice for drying storing and using lumber.

What client is asked to provide; Properly prepared and staged logs, equipment to move large logs if needed, enough labor (helpers) to keep work flow smooth, a fairly level work site with enough room to manage lumber.

The most common mistake folks make is not getting enough help. If we are sawing 10, 8 foot white pines into 1 inch siding then one helper may be enough, change that to 16 foot 2 x 10 white oaks and 4 helpers may not be enough!
